Campaigning

Sam Yan Press has held a campaign for the public to acknowledge the injustice in Hong Kong as Joshua Wong and many other activists have been jailed or charged unjustly. Freedom of assembly, publishing, and press have been restricted in Hong Kong since the enforcement of the National Security Law.

Since the Happy Birthday to artists sign on Tuk-Tuk is viral and is pop culture in Thailand, we then made the sign to promote Joshua Wong’s birthday to spread acknowledgement and support for Joshua Wong and democracy movements in Hong Kong.

Tuk-Tuks with the sign Happy Birthday Joshua Wong around Pathum Wan (Chulalongkorn University and Sam Yan area), Bangkok, Thailand
The Poster made for the Tuk-Tuk

In solidarity, Sam Yan Press and the student organisations in Thailand do hereby stand and support Joshua Wong and Hong Kong democracy movements.
